Debugging

When using Visual Studio Code you can use the debugger to step through the code when running as a web service.

Use the debug menu in Visual Studio Code and select “Python: Flask” from the options. This will start the Flask web server in a debug environment.

To produce a document without rendering it (no tag replacement) you can use the norender=1 query param in the URL. This is useful for checking that things such as sheets are amending the document structure correctly.
